Q: What is 4D ultrasound?
A: 4D Ultrasound (also known as 3D/4D Ultrasound) is the most advanced technology used by sonographers during pregnancy to evaluate the unborn fetus. This process provides physicians and expecting mothers with the best images of the fetus available. For many years, obstetricians have used 2D ultrasound technology during
pregnancies but are quickly shifting to the upgraded technology.
Q: Will my insurance cover this?
A: Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover ultrasound sessions of taking 3d/4d images at this time.
Q: What influence a perfect picture of my baby?
A: Many factors affect the quality of the images (fetal position, amount of amniotic fluid, amount of maternal
tissue). We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of your baby. If the baby remains
"uncooperative" through your session it may be necessary to repeat the scan at a later time when the position has
changed. We want you to be happy with the quality of your product and encourage you to share any concerns with
us prior to leaving your session.
Q: How long does it take?
A: You choose the length of your ultrasound session. It then takes just several minutes to print your pictures
and prepare the CDs and DVDs.
Q: Is ultrasound safe?
A: The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine’s official statement:
No confirmed biological effects on patients or instrument operators caused by exposure at intensities typical
of present diagnostic ultrasound equipment have ever been reported.
Q: What is essential for the best images?
A: Adequate fluid around the baby, fetal movement, and fat on the baby help create the optimum image.
Q: Can I bring guests to my session? A: We encourage you to bring your friends and Family. You are welcome to bring up to 15 people to share and enjoy the show. We belive this experience only strengthen the relationship inside your family and friends.
